The key design concept of the PSS is to remove/trap suspended particles/solids from the water which would typically flow straight through many vortex bays and thus pollute any biological media. This means the ADTEC - CL2 is suitable for Koi ponds up to 5,000 gallons (22,500 litres) or Goldfish ponds up to 10,000 gallons (45,000 litres). The ADTEC - CL3 is suitable for Koi ponds up to 7,500 gallons (33,750 litres) or Goldfish ponds up to 15,000 gallons (67,500 litres) with the ADTEC - CL4 being suitable for Koi ponds up to 10,000 gallons (45,000 litres) or Goldfish ponds up to 20,000 gallons (90,000 litres).
