These are very reliable high performance units suitable for continuous operation in freshwater, marine systems and even some mild corrosive chemical applications. The Materials in contact with the water are 316 stainless steel and composite plastic.

 Speck Badu Top 42 Series Pumps
The Speck Badu Top 42 Series Pumps are a very robust, reliable and versatile range of pumps. The two pumps in the range are the 42/5 and 42/8 capable of moving up to 3300 gallons per hour at a 4m head. Originally designed as jet pumps for use with whirlpools and spa's, these pumps are virtually silent in operation and are designed to deliver performance and reliability.
These pumps can be used in conjunction with a strainer basket (which we would recommend) or can be used without.
