 The "Mimizuku" or Horned Owl Lantern has six sloping sides with a "Horned owl on a branch" design. It has a sloping roof-top and a cast iron bell with an owl design and is pale green verdigris in colour.
In Japan and the Far East, wind-bells are hung outside under the eves and the gentle sounds are thought to cool the oppressive heat.
