 Microbe-Lift Super Start Bead Filter Bacteria
Microbe-Lift Super Start Bead Filter Bacteria has been specially omulated for all biological (bead) filters). Like most types of mechanical/biological filters, bead filters rely on the use of a media that provides a high surface area/volume ratio. This allows for the support of the necessary biomas, in the form of a biofilm, to properly remove organic and inorganic waste from the water.
Within this biofilm it is possible to to carry out aerobic, facultative anerobic, anaerobic and chemosynthetic processes. In english, this actually means that we develop and grow various forms of bateria on our filter media which will result in the complete nitrifaction process and also develop the biomas which totally covers the bead media and becomes sticky, it is this sticky biomas that traps the small particles as part of the normal filtration process which results in clear clean water.
Microbe-Lift Super Start contains all these bacteria capable of carrying out all of the necessary processes for the optimum performance of bead filters.
When used according to the recommended dosage instructions Microbe-Lift Super Start will provide the following benefits:
- Rapid establishment of organic removal capabilities
- Rapid establishment of the nitrogen cycle including nitrification and denitrification
- Reduces the build up of residue in the filter, reducing maintenance and improving the filters efficiency

Microbe-Lift Super Start Directions For Use:
When starting up a filter for the first time, apply Microbe-Lift Super Start for 4 weeks. Clean the filter the apply for a further two weeks. For regular maintenance for your system use in conjunction with Microbe-Lift Clean & Clear.
Please note that this product is not just for new filters and can be used whenever you feel it necessary, for example wneh introducing new fish and following medication and or treatments to your pond.
